St. Matthew’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in the Cayman Islands is looking for a visiting professor who is passionate about teaching Veterinary Pathology. The ideal candidate possesses a DVM/VMD/BVSc, and/or PhD Pathology and is preferably board eligible or board certified in Veterinary Pathology.
The successful candidate will be expected to co-teach in the Veterinary Pathology courses (Pathology I and II) by teaching lectures and laboratories (where appropriate). The successful candidate would be required to teach lectures remotely (via Zoom) in addition to an in-person visit to Grand Cayman for 1-2 weeks during the semester.
The Cayman Islands, only a one hour plane ride to Miami, are a British Overseas Territory and offer a first-world lifestyle. Visiting Grand Cayman to teach means you can enjoy year-long warm weather, one of the best beaches in the world, many of the best restaurants in the Caribbean and experience incredible snorkelling and diving opportunities.

Located in the beautiful island of Grand Cayman,the School of Veterinary Medicine at St. Matthew's University operates year around on a trimester system, admitting a new class of students three times per year (September, January and May), and all courses are taught in each semester. Students spend the first seven semesters at the main campus on Grand Cayman and complete their final year of clinical training at one of our affiliate Schools of Veterinary Medicine in the United States or Canada.
