Why Join Us? Daisy Mountain Veterinary Hospital is a place where passionate veterinary professionals come together to deliver outstanding care. We take pride in our positive work environment, and we've been voted the #1 Veterinary Hospital in our community for three straight years and no, we didn't bribe the cats!
About Our Hospital:
Location: Our modern facility was constructed in 2021.
Facilities: 6 exam rooms, 1 surgical suite, imaging room, isolation room, dental suite, and a spacious treatment area.
Technology: We are equipped with the latest technology, including an ultrasound machine, electrocautery, and in-house lab machines. Future plans include adding cold therapy equipment.
Environment: We run a paper-lite practice, enhancing efficiency and care quality.
Patient Base: We cater to 100% small animals. Our veterinarians see an average of 16-18 patients per day, with each appointment lasting 30 minutes.
Team and Culture: Our team consists of dedicated professionals with a 1:2 doctor-to-technician ratio and 2 certified veterinary technicians (CVTs) on staff. We are a 3 full-time doctor practice. We value mentorship and teamwork, maintaining a cooperative and supportive culture. We enjoy regular team outings and have even started a book club – because the only thing better than a good book is a good book with a cat on your lap. We respect work-life balance and believe every team member plays a vital role in our hospital.
Mentorship for New Graduates: We offer a structured mentorship program with longer appointment times and hands-on training to support new graduates.
Work Schedule:
4-day work week: 8 AM - 6 PM with a 90-minute lunch break.
1-2 Saturdays per month from 9 AM - 4 PM (no surgeries on Saturdays).
No after-hours or on-call requirements.
Community and Location: Anthem is a charming town with stunning mountain views, just 30-40 minutes from the greater Phoenix area. Enjoy 70 acres of parks, multiple playgrounds, ball fields, and community events throughout the year. It’s a family-friendly area with a 43,000 sq ft community center featuring a gym, rock climbing wall, pools, and a water park with slides.
