The Animal Emergency Clinic of the Fraser Valley is looking for additional ER Veterinarians to join our thriving team. We’ve been growing for over 24 years and are one of the largest and busiest emergency and critical care hospitals in Western Canada, providing coverage for more than 100 referring general practitioners.
As a leading AAHA and VECCS Level II accredited emergency facility, we continually strive for innovation and growth. Our emergency care has developed to include the on-site services of three surgeons and a radiologist, and we are taking steps to further expand our ER and specialty services. We are looking for a compassionate and confident Veterinarian who is excited for the challenge and reward of emergency medicine and who will share their enthusiasm through collaboration and mentorship.
Come join our team of over 90 incredible individuals, each committed to practicing the highest standard of emergency medicine! You will have opportunities to practice emergency surgeries, endoscopy, ultrasound, and CT procedures alongside a strong group of team-players who work hard at maintaining a fun, inclusive clinic culture. We value what your unique experience can contribute to our clinic!
In this rewarding role you will see dramatic improvement in patient health after intensive care that utilizes the full range of your knowledge and skills every day in a variety of emergency and critical care cases. If you enjoy the unpredictable nature of emergency veterinary medicine, desire job stability, and value a healthy work-life balance, this is your chance to join our thriving team.
A career with us is the chance to live, work, and play in the heart of beautiful British Columbia's Lower Mainland—an area renowned for its hiking, watersports, mountain biking, equestrian activities, skiing, and snowboarding. If you enjoy an active lifestyle combined with easy access to big city culture, you're going to love it where the city meets the country… just 30 minutes outside of Vancouver.
Our amazing team already includes doctors from many parts of North America. If you are considering a move for political or personal reasons, the process is easier than you think! We will assist in your relocation process in any way required, and we provide a generous signing bonus and moving allowance. We offer highly competitive wages, an annual CE and uniform allowance, a generous staff discount plan, paid dues, paid vacation, an annual travel bonus, and more.
