Vetr is the first mobile veterinary service of its kind in West Michigan and we're looking to build a team who’s ready to challenge the status quo and help us revolutionize veterinary medicine. We are currently seeking a veterinarian who will travel throughout the greater Grand Rapids area and treat pets from the comfort of their own homes. You will travel with one veterinary assistant and care for no more than 8 households per day, ensuring each pet receives personalized attention away from the stressors found in a traditional clinic. When you’re not seeing patients in home, you’ll be serving clients remotely through our telemedicine platform from your home or wherever you prefer to work remotely.
Vetr is a women and minority owned company based in Grand Rapids, MI, reimagining mobile veterinary care by offering annual memberships for in-home wellness care. Memberships include in-home visits, vaccines, testing, and access to our online pharmacy. We also offer unlimited telemedicine services to our members for any questions or concerns that arise throughout the year. Vetr is vertically integrated with an in-house high volume reference lab in downtown Grand Rapids, which allows us to pay our vets a competitive wage while offering affordable veterinary care to our members. As a startup, Vetr offers exciting opportunities to its team of veterinarians and technicians by prioritizing the mental health and work-life balance of our team, reminding you why went to vet school in the first place.
