Has a few years of experience under their belt (2-5 years is ideal)
Is confident in dentistry or looking to advance their dental skills

What makes West Main different?
Our hospital is truly a special place to be because everyone has a strong work ethic and is willing to jump in and help whenever possible. Our team has no drama and aside from our newest support staff hire, we have impressively low turnover and multiple tenured employees. If you’re looking to join a team that’s dedicated, collaborative, and uniquely laid back, yet high energy, West Main is the place for you!
As our next associate DVM, our community would most benefit from an experienced doctor who enjoys dentals and will take the time to get to know them. Our niche is high quality, low volume and dental heavy (we’ll even perform more difficult cases and take on referrals from other local veterinarians too). We prioritize client education and diagnostics, and operate as a paper-lite, Monday-Friday, small animal hospital that’s well-equipped with an IDEXX in-house lab, ultrasound, digital radiology, and more.
We’ll tailor our benefits to best fit your needs and will help you establish a schedule that makes sense for your work life balance.
Our competitive benefits package also includes:
Generous salary + production (no negative accrual)
Exciting bonus program / relocation assistance
120 hours of PTO (with rollover)
No on-call/emergency, or weekend hours
Medical, dental, and vision plans (HSA option)
Paid parental leave / bonding time
$2,500 annual CE allowance (with days to attend)
AVMA PLIT coverage
Paid licensure fees / membership dues
Professional development assistance
Structured mentorship program
Guidance from a Medical Advisory Board
Annual ski pass / National Park pass
Charity donation or sponsorship
