We are a women-owned practice that is proud of its fear free, integrative medicine, cat friendly approach to patient care. We also foster a low-stress environment for staff and clients. We love our community and enjoy participating in local sponsorships, city events and festivals!
FVH offers an open, friendly, warm, high-tech, state of the art facility supported by a collaborative work environment that encourages close relationships with clients, patients, and colleagues. We provide comprehensive, thoughtful, high-quality medicine through the use of our in-house IDEXX lab machines as well as digital radiology (dental included!) and ultrasound. It is important that we partner with our clients to deliver ideal medical care plans for each patient. Our clients are educated and dedicated to providing the best care and seek us out for our specialized approach (just read our reviews!). Integrative medicine allows us to expand our always growing toolbox and increase treatment options for our patients. Our exam rooms are larger than most to allow extra space for those pets that are especially nervous. We have a separate cat room which allows our feline patients to be much more comfortable during their appointments. Our appointment times are longer to provide space for low stress, thoughtful, thorough medicine. We couldn’t provide such a high level of care without the support of our team. We are so proud of them! They are knowledgeable, innovative, empathetic, and passionate. We have a very diverse case load, so collaboration plays a big part in patient care and case management. You will never find yourself alone without the support of your entire team. We encourage our veterinarians to exercise their own personalized approach and we offer mentorship to new grads. Want to learn something new?? We would love to help you reach your professional goals! Among our many benefits, we offer opportunities for continuing education and support for certifications.
Ideal Candidate: We are in search of an associate veterinarian that values collaboration with a desire to form lasting bonds with our clients and patients! The right person will see our clients as partners in their pet’s care and work diligently to provide thorough, thoughtful medical care plans. They will be open minded to learning integrative medicine and will also embrace a Fear Free approach! The right candidate will be prompt, reliable, personable, friendly, and a good communicator.
Benefits: We are NOT a factory. We are conscientious about our work-life balance, continuing education and team building for our entire work family. In addition to our amazing team and community, we offer an ideal work schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance. We’re closed on Sundays and have a rotating Saturday schedule, which means only one Saturday a month! We believe in rewarding our team for good, hard work! We offer quarterly bonuses, and have many team outings, events, dinners, and trips. We also provide health insurance, dental and vision insurance, health savings account, CE stipend, paid licensing and liability insurance, 401K, a generous signing bonus, and paid vacation, parental leave, mentorship/collaboration, and a REAL lunch break. Sound too good to be true? It isn’t!!!!!
