Small Animal DVM - Laveen, AZ (Greater Phoenix) **Flexible Schedule**
Animal Hospital of Laveen
Location: Laveen Village, Arizona
Type: Full Time
DVM or equivalent
Internal Number: Animal Hospital of Laveen
Just as the Arizona Salt River wild horses represent the free spirit of the American West, spirit and passion represent the culture of the Animal Hospital of Laveen.
As our AAHA-accredited hospital grows, we’re looking to expand our team and welcome a new full-time veterinarian to our close-knit community. DVMs who provide authentic veterinary care, enjoy small animal medicine, and are client-focused would be excellent additions to our hospital.
This means our staff is dedicated to providing a delightful experience the minute our clients, patients, and staff walk through our doors. We’re fully equipped and offer services like vaccinations, on-site laboratory testing, dentistry, routine surgeries, radiology, allergy testing and treatment, and more. Our culture is team-oriented, and our staff is well-trained (30+ years of combined experience) to support our doctors with a wide variety of caseloads.
To support our newest veterinarian, we’re offering a comprehensive benefits program:
Competitive salary (no negative accrual) plus production
Sign-on / relocation assistance available for eligible candidates
Generous PTO / flexible scheduling
NO on-call or emergency hours
Medical, dental, and vision for you and your dependents (with HSA option)
Paid parental leave / bonding time
Professional development assistance
AVMA PLIT coverage
Paid license renewal fees / membership dues
Medical freedom to practice skills you’re proficient in or explore areas you’d like to learn
Charity donation or sponsorship to a cause you care about
We're open to Veterinarians of all experience levels, including new graduates. Dr. Clifford Fraser worked as an ER technician prior to vet school and loves to teach the entire team new skills. Additional ways we'll support mentorship and your growth include:
Annual CE allowance
Guidance from a talented Medical Advisory Board
Structured mentorship program for early career veterinarians and interested mentors
Monthly DVM rounds with an internal medicine specialist
Dentistry training courtesy of a board-certified dental specialist
