CARROLLTON ANIMAL HOSPITAL
Give us the opportunity to convince you that our practice is best for you. Located in picturesque Carrollton, Ohio and surrounded by beautiful lakes, farms, wineries, scenic drives, and nature in all its glory, Carrollton Animal Hospital has been serving our community for over 50 years.
The area offers small-town charm with many nearby amenities, great schools, and neighborly clients. Our practice is family-friendly and privately-owned, allowing for veterinarian-based decisions in the day-to-day operations of the clinic and for very individualized medicine and patient care. No two patients and clients are the same; this is why our approach is always tailored to meet their individual needs.
We’re looking to hire an enthusiastic, compassionate, and eager small animal veterinarian and/or a mixed large and small animal veterinarian. We are partnered with Carrollton Equine, an exclusively-equine, integrated veterinary facility, and would encourage you to dip your toes in the equine world (only if interested!).
We service Carroll County and have an equine haul-in facility. Our ambulatory practice involves predominantly equine services with a handful of cattle, sheep, and goat clients. We are a growing private practice with 1 part-time and 3 full-time veterinarians. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality medicine in a rural setting and collaborate frequently with each other to provide the best care to our patients.
Our staff handles complex cases routinely and enjoys mentoring. We’re also open to learning new techniques, as well. Our veterinarians and staff are devoted to staying on top of the latest diagnostics, treatments, and wellness programs. We work together to create a fantastic and entertaining work environment while focusing on the highest quality medicine.
The clinic boasts an interest in both traditional and eastern medicine. We take pride in our newly upgraded in-house lab, ultrasound, upgraded dental radiography, digital radiology, therapy laser, and surgical laser therapy to name a few. We’re also willing to consider other machines if there is an expressed interest and opportunities to expand into different species.
New graduates are welcome! We are open to mentoring a new graduate to allow you to develop the skill set and confidence level needed to practice as a veterinarian successfully. This position comes with a competitive starting salary (negotiable, everything is negotiable). We pay according to performance, not production. We also have a large support staff to assist our doctors in managing their patient’s care. Our hours are 7am to 5pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 7am to 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday, with no weekend or emergency hours for small animals.
