Wildlife Vet Externship in Malawi
We are looking for bright, enthusiastic vet students to support our work at Malawi’s only wildlife sanctuary. Working alongside a resident team of expert wildlife vets, participants on the veterinary externship have a unique opportunity to gain work experience in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. Veterinary externs will assist the on-site veterinarian when any clinical work arises, including incoming examinations of new arrivals, treatment of minor trauma, lab work and routine diagnostics. Externs will also get invovled with general animal welfare duties for the sanctuary resident such as enrichment, integrations, observations and animal husbandry.
