About Sun City Animal Hospital
Sun City Animal Hospital is located in the heart of Summerlin, which is the largest master planned community in Las Vegas, established by the Howard Hughes Corporation in the early 1990’s. The hospital has been a cornerstone of the community since 1993 providing care for companion animals as well as acting as a resource for education and community service. Living in the area allows access to the best private and public schools, and parks and recreation opportunities the city has to offer in a quiet suburban setting with easy access to the Las Vegas Strip. Red Rock Canyon for hiking, Mount Charleston for skiing, Lake Mead for water sports, Dumont Dunes for desert motor sports, Southern Utah for access to many National Parks are just a few examples of what life in Southern Nevada has to offer.
The hospital enjoys a great clientele that expects compassionate and progressive veterinary care that we love to provide. We work closely with the Veterinary Specialty Center for our patients that require advanced diagnostics and treatment, have helped care for over 2000 Golden Retrievers through Golden Retriever Rescue of Southern Nevada, were pioneers in the kitten adoption program ...offered through Heaven Can Wait rescue group and support both the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts of America.
As a hospital we believe in strong mentorship as a critical component in developing young veterinarians as they enter practice and the staff veterinarians have over 50 years of combined experience in veterinary medicine and surgery to foster this.
