Exubrion Therapeutics, Inc. is a venture-backed startup company that has recently launched a highly novel treatment of canine osteoarthritis called Synovetin OA®. Customers are specialty and general practice veterinary hospitals. Synovetin OA® is administered via a single, out-patient injection and can be effective for up to one year. The company is headquartered in Buford, Georgia.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Exubrion has recently launched its first product, Synovetin OA®, a highly novel treatment for osteoarthritis in dogs. Synovetin OA® is sold directly to veterinarians. Exubrion has a small, field-based sales force who calls on veterinary customers around the country. This position is based in the Exubrion headquarters (Buford, Georgia) and works directly with both potential new customers and the field-based Product Specialists.
Field inbound contacts and requests for information from potential customers. Detail product and provide requirements for customer licensing.
Monitor CRM system and contact veterinary hospitals that have engaged with Exubrion content (website, social media, mail campaigns, etc.)
Develop these customer relationships and work with the local Exubrion Product Specialists to convert these contacts into customers.
Coordinate with field-based sales team and execute specific, local sales initiatives (distribute promotional materials, organize local sales events, etc.)
Work with Marketing team to implement targeted marketing programs.
Secondary Responsibilities may include:
Generate sales leads.
Manage interactions with 3rd party call center and order processing.
Track metrics for sales and customer experience
Ad-hoc projects, as assigned by Management.
The position is part of the Sales department and reports directly to the Director of Sales. This position will interact considerably with the individual Product Specialists, Marketing and Veterinary Operations.
Education, Skills and Work Experience Requirements:
Track record of strong sales performance
Demonstrated ability to sell over the phone
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster positive relationships with customers.
Ability to plan and manage a large number of tasks simultaneously
Interested in working in a small company environment.
Ability to work independently and in small groups.
(Preferred) Experience in a veterinary hospital or animal health
Additional Salary Information: Exubrion offers a competitive compensation of salary and benefits (including health insurance). This position will participate in the sales incentive plan which provides quarterly incentive payments for achievement of certain sales objectives and milestones
