1.We understand quality of life is important for keeping our staff healthy and happy. Veterinary medicine is hard work and can be exhausting. That’s why we offer four day work weeks, no long evenings or emergency hours and NO weekends, competitive salary, health insurance, a mental health employee assistance plan, vacation, holidays and CE package. 

We make sure you have time for lunch and to get your notes done during the day. 

You’ll have your weekends and nights free to check out our amazing Metroparks, Lake Erie or our acclaimed Art Museum or nationally ranked Zoo.

3. We are not a corporate owned practice. We value your input on our team and allow you to practice like you envisioned when you decided to become a vet focusing on the care of your patient rather than on meeting production numbers. We hold monthly staff meetings and weekly veterinarian meetings to stay connected to you.

• We believe all pets and their families deserve access to veterinary care and we will give back through giving $1 from every healthy pet exam fee into a special fund our veterinary team can use to help clients when finances are an issue.

As part of our commitment, we have licensed social workers interning with us to support our staff and clients.

5. We ensure you are surrounded by solid support staff and utilize our technicians to their highest skill.

We are looking for someone with at least one year of clinic and surgical experience who likes surgery to add to our growing team.  We will consider someone with less as the right fit is important.  Training and mentoring is available.
