Schulhof Animal Hospital is legendary in Westport, CT having been in uninterrupted operation since 1946. It is located above the shores of Long Island Sound, with plenty of parking, on a lovely landscaped lot on US 1, one minute from downtown Westport, and only six minutes from either the Merritt Parkway or Interstate 95.Schulhof Animal Hospital is a full- service facility offering integrative and innovative medicine, as well as boarding and grooming. We also have a dedicated Cat Clinic and Cat boarding area, and our doctors are members of the American Association of Feline Practitioners. We are fully computerized and digitized, including full body and dental radiology, ECG, Therapeutic Laser, Ultrasound, Advance Allergy Therapeutics, surgical monitoring, and a lab for blood chemistries, counts, and microbiology. We have a full-time computer systems and security tech on staff to keep everything running.Our doctor’s work is fully leveraged by Certified Veterinary Technicians, who are in turn supported by well-trained Veterinary Assistants. We also have a resident Vet Tech who lives in the hospital apartment, and does nighttime monitoring. In addition, we have a dedicated and super...bly trained Front Desk Staff, who know they are our initial contact with our clients. Our client retention is 30 years and more.In the current pandemic we have put in place robust safety protocols to protect our staff. We are practicing curbside with an airlock, telemedicine, plenty of PPE, an ozonator to sterilize the facility at night, hand sanitizer stations, and room airpurifiers. We are AAHA affiliated.
