| We are a 3 doctor practice, located in the suburban Chicago area. We are looking for an equine ambulatory veterinarian that is hardworking, enthusiastic and compassionate to join our team. Position is open to full and part time applicants. We are 90% equine, 5% small animal and the remaining split between pot-bellied pigs, goats, etc. Our practice philosophy is to provide compassionate care, unrivaled service and cutting edge veterinary medicine to our patients and client. We promote a "team effort" environment though out all aspects of the practice and value a good work life balance. Emergency coverage is shared between veterinarians. Our clientele is comprised mostly of english sport horses including dressage, jumper, hunters, and saddlebreds. We also serve western performance horses and trail-riders. We provide routine care, dentistry, sports medicine services, medicine, opthalmology, and reproductive services. An interest in small animal, pot-bellied pigs and goats is a plus! We practice a high caliber of veterinary medicine and our services include stem cell therapy, embryo transfer, ultrasound-guided injections, chiropractic, acupuncture, etc. We have fully equipped ambulatory vehicles. We have digital medical records, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy 1M and 3M, shockwave, K-laser and power floats. A technician accompanies veterinarians on appointments. Compensation includes AVMA and AAEP dues, liability insurance, paid vacation, and CE compensation. A practice vehicle is provided as well as practice laptop and phone. Experience is preferred, but all applicants are welcome. Salary and benefits are based on experience and negotiable. |
