Butler Veterinary Associates and Emergency Center is a large group practice located in Butler, PA, which is less than 1 hour north of Pittsburgh. We are able to enjoy various sports teams, 4 seasons and low cost of living. We are a busy clinic with over 50 employees and 10 doctors that provide general practice services as well as emergency services.

We are in search of an emergency doctor who wants to receive many challenging cases that will keep your diagnostic, medical and surgical skills sharp. Although we are not open 24 hours, we do provide hospital care through the night with a technician and our doctors usually work our 4-12PM shift. We value work/life balance and therefore we rotate weekends and work no more than 32 scheduled hours per week. There would be no on call duties and we offer a lot of flexibility and mentoring. Our ER department is very busy and we are looking for a dedicated ER doctor to help contribute to our team.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed.
