Position Requirements: -WA State LVT licensure current or easily obtained at time of hire. -Fear Free principles of care are a must (paid certification and training provided). -Strong desire to learn and teach behavior and reward based training to clients. -EMR experience and computer savvy. -Strong communication skills, soft-skills, and enjoyment of client interaction. -Collaborative approach to patient care. -High level skills in anesthesia and hospitalization care. -Feline focus a plus! -An attitude that tells us you love this profession. -A desire to continue to develop all your nursing skills. Candidates with desire to seek additional certifications given preferential consideration. We believe strongly in the veterinary nursing initiative and require LVT status for all nursing tasks. -Relocation assistance provided for candidates outside local region. -Paid assistance for LVTs that wish to pursue VTS board certification. -FT nurses work 35-40 hours weekly with a 4 day work-week. -No Sunday, late-evening or emergency/on-call hours. -Competitive wage scale with clearly defined steps($20-26/hour).
