Westchester Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned and consistantly growing companion animal practice located in the piedmont triad of North Carolina. We are centrally located to mountains, beaches, big cities, farm towns and everything in between. Our doctor's work schedules allow them to experience the best of what North Carolina has to offer. We practice high quality medicine and surgery and have excellent in-house diagnostic equipment along with a fully stocked pharmacy and surgical department. Our long-term, talented staff is ready to transition a new veterinarian into our work family.
Schedule: Our needs are flexible to accommodate a 2, 3, 4 or 4.5 day/week veterinarian with part time or full time status. NO NIGHTS. NO WEEKENDS. NO ON CALL.
Compensation: Our veterinarians are paid very competitive base salaries plus production bonus.
Benefits include: Paid time off. Medical insurance stipend. CE allowance. Dues and registration fees (DEA license, AVMA and NC license, etc). Relocation costs can be negotiated.
Other Benefits: Ultrasound training provided by North Carolina State's critical care department ($2500 course). Gym and yoga memberships (less than 2 minutes away) to compliment long lunch breaks. Employees must have appropriate credentials to work as a veterinarian in the US, particularly North Carolina. Employees must be present during working hours, with the exception of PTO and Leave.
Employees are expected to maintain CE hours and a license to practice veterinary medicine
Employees are expected to follow operating procedures and protocols in place, alterations to these protocols can be discussed at regular meetings among veterinarians and management.
Employees are expected to provide an extraordinary experience for clients and patients (within reason) and always be courteous and professional to clients and staff.
Employees are expected to work as a team member and treat our patients with excellent care and compassion.
Additional Salary Information: *above salary figures based on full time 4-4.5d/week schedule. Part time salaries vary based on schedule.
