Working at Everett Veterinary Hospital & Boarding House is a veterinary adventure, but we still manage to give staff a great work-life balance. We need someone who will be excited to see patients and clients every day AND enjoy going home on time (you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here after 5:30pm). We need a team member who will look forward to collaborating with the team on new and interesting cases (we see bald eagles!).
While every clinic says they meet the standard of care, we constantly exceed it (no, really). Our above and beyond medicine has kept our clinic loyal to Klamath Falls, Oregon for over 25 years. We are proudly the only AHAA accredited facility within a 100 mile radius. We have a wonderful support staff with 2 licensed technicians, assistant technicians, an experienced and supportive practice manager, 2 boarding technicians, and 2 receptionists. With our staff’s high level of training, you will work as a doctor, focus on quality patient care, and enjoy the community outside of work.
Klamath Falls is a beautiful family city located in the sun belt of southern Oregon. With an average of 310 days of sunlight a year, we are fortunate to be able to experience all four seasons. Klamath Falls is located centrally between Portland and Sacramento on a large lake near the Cascade mountain range. Our city has many outdoor amenities including fishing and boating, hiking, biking, camping, hunting, and golfing. If you love the outdoors, you need to come here fast. We love our community and our mission, therefore, love giving back in many ways. Our company donates to local sustainable or animal-welfare related causes such as the local K-9 Unit and the Klamath Falls Bark for Life.
We are looking for either 2 part-time or 1 full-time associate to keep our hospital comfortable, personable, and knowledgeable; a work schedule is negotiable depending on position desired. Benefits include paid relocation reimbursement, sign-on bonus, student loan tiered repayment, free housing (yes, you read that right), PTO, personal pet health discounts, SIMPLE IRA plan, professional dues reimbursements, and gym membership reimbursement. Please note that working some Saturdays is required, but is on rotation and can switch if you need a nice vacation.
A minimum of 1 year of experience with dogs and cats in preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, and radiology is a must. A desire to learn about exotics, pocket pets, and birds is required; any experience, including only observing exotic cases, is welcome. We are also looking for new graduates to mentor if it fits within our team.
