Our 4 doctor AAHA Accredited practice is seeking a full time, experienced Office/Practice Manager. Located in Hampton Roads, VA, we offer beautiful weather and close proximity to the beach. The Responsibilities and Purpose of this Position
This position will work under the guidance of the hospital administrator.
This position will contribute ideas and work towards a variety of analytical, evaluative, advisory, coordinating, supervisory, and technical function in support of our company.
This position will work in the areas of administration, operational plans, human resource responsibilities, hiring and training of team members, and inventory.
This position will engage in client interactions both positive and constructive concerns.
This position will cultivate a supportive and collaborate team environment.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required.
Experience with Cornerstone Practice Management software is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in team communications with strong leadership skills.
Proficient in client communication including resolving conflict.
Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
Veterinary medical experience is preferred.
High level of dedication to patient care.
Ability to calmly and effectively handle stressful situations.
Understanding of veterinary terminology, equipment, treatment protocols and animal husbandry.
Previous management experience is preferred.
Preference will be given to those candidates with a background in business, sales, and veterinary medicine.
The ability to empower, educate and lead by example.
Superb organizational skills-can manage time and tasks appropriately and remain flexible with assigned duties
Has wonderful interpersonal skills with staff and clients, and works well in a team environment
CVPM certification, Veterinary Technician license, and/or undergraduate degree related to business is preferred.
