We are an established practice looking for a full time Hospital Manager. We have approximately 20 employees and we are open 6 days per week. Past supervision of employees and strong computer skills are needed for this position.
Inventory - Automated via our practice management software. Manager will observe order points for all items stocked and maintain desired physical stock levels. Manage Controlled Drug inventory with 100% accuracy and zero defects in ASAP reporting. - Understand and be proficient Vetsource direct product ordering process for our clients.- Reduce the number of clients who purchase products from Internet drug suppliers.- Learn how to correctly order from all vendors.Annual Performance appraisals: - Set developmental plans with individual employees. Address training needs of individual employees and list a short term goals in Performance meetings. Monitor results throughout the year. Conduct yearly performance appraisals for all employees. Hire/Terminate Bookkeeping / Payroll- Biweekly payroll processed online through Paychex- Using QuickbooksPro, process and maintain Accounts Payable Practice Management software- Become proficient in Practice Management software. Know and understand all aspects of daily client transactions. - Generate previous day reports and check transactions for errors or omissions. - Promote our business through VinX software and develop a plan to move more of our clients into Petsites. Stay current with VinX improvements and how they can apply them to our business.- Perform annual price analysis of products and services and determine if increases are needed.- Manage Accounts Receivable: send monthly statements, utilize collection services if needed. - Maintain and manage our website and Facebook with current information.Scheduling Employees-Use online software (Timeforge) to schedule employees. Maintain Timeforge with accurate employee information.-Manage and track employee vacation, sick time, and solve daily scheduling issues. Employee Training:Train new employees in Practice Management software, Timforge, VinX. Develop a written plan for new employee training for medical staff and Front Desk staff.Windows Skills Must have strong basic skills with Windows Operating systems. MS Office skills required: Word, Exel
